Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee records in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage and update HR databases, tracking changes in personnel, salaries, and benefits.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of employee certifications, training, and licenses required for steel industry roles.

Coordination of HR Processes:

  • Assist in the execution of recruitment and selection processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, medical examinations, and other relevant assessments required for steel industry positions.
  • Support the administration of employee performance evaluations and appraisals.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations within the steel sector.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with company guidelines and industry standards.
  • Help maintain a work environment that promotes compliance with all relevant laws and regulations governing the steel industry.

Employee Communication:

  • Support HR in disseminating important communications, announcements, and policy updates to employees within the steel sector.
  • Assist in addressing employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and other relevant correspondence.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and industry-specific skill development programs.

Data Reporting:

  • Generate regular reports on HR metrics, including turnover rates, training participation, and compliance status.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and suggest improvements in HR processes within the steel industry.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient flow of information and seamless HR-related processes that meet the unique demands of the steel industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in HR administration, preferably within the steel or heavy industry.
  • Strong understanding of steel industry regulations, safety requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
