Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate/Process Developer - Payroll Operations (Austria) (Low-Medium Complexity | Transactional Execution)
Role Purpose
This role is essential in optimizing payroll operations by leveraging payroll data, information and administering payroll to enhance workforce experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, operational support, and fostering collaboration across HR and business functions.
Responsibilities
1. Payroll Processing
.Payroll Preparation-Maintenance (new hires, address changes, terminations etc)
.Import Prep (Including payroll adjustment forms) Support monthly closing preparation
.Verify time data and flag missing/exception entries for payroll completion.
2. Reporting & List Management
.Maintain employee lists (maternity, retirees, partial retirement)
.Generate standard reports (5th working day reports), Sick leave lists etc.
.Update occupation and payroll lists for leaders and upload to SharePoint as required.
5. Data Maintenance
.Maintain and update payroll databases, ensuring data integrity.
.Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
.Update mapping files for SAP payroll integration and keep Excel mapping lists current.
.Upload signed documents to digital personnel files and flag missing items.
6. Administrative Support:
.Maintain digital personnel files.
.Handle documentation and filing
.Update processes, knowledge articles, and policies as per requirements
.Support month end activities: one off payment instructions, settlements follow ups and benefit imports.
Systems Used
.Good to have: ServiceNow, Workday, ADP, BMD HR‑Suite Assignment Management Tool (AMT) Global Advantage SAP Concur ARIBA Docusign TMI Excel Power BI / Tableau Outlook MS Teams SharePoint.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in HR, Payroll, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
.Proficiency in payroll systems (Workday. ADP, SAP and Oracle HCM Cloud).
.Five Days working from Office
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Preference of an understanding of Payroll module
.Familiarity with Human Resource Management System platforms, Ticketing tools
(ServiceNow, Zendesk) and European statutory payroll requirements.
.Certification in payroll management is a plus.
.Payroll Tool knowledge
