Hiring for QC Microbiologist Executive - Ankleshwar

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conduct analyses in accordance with established release specifications and testing methodologies.

2. Prepare records and documentation as directed by the Department Head.

3. Formulate media and solutions of standards following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

4. Calibrate instruments and equipment, ensuring thorough documentation of the process.

5. Oversee the disposal of analyzed samples and used media.

6. Monitor the housekeeping activities within the laboratory.

7. Participate in all training programs organized by the company to enhance knowledge and ensure compliance with current GMP/GLP regulations and pertinent information.

8. Adhere to existing SOPs related to all laboratory operations.

9. Execute all laboratory activities in alignment with GMP/GLP/Safety protocols.

10. Undertake additional tasks assigned by the Department Head.

11. Serve as a member of the Food Safety program, fulfilling duties as designated within the food safety team.

12. Prepare media and sterilize glassware and media as required.

13. Perform microbiological testing of water samples according to the frequency outlined in the SOP.

14. Conduct microbiological testing of finished products based on customer-specific requirements.

15. Maintain comprehensive records related to microbiological analyses.

16. Carry out area monitoring of the plant, microbiological laboratory, and RLAF room according to a predefined schedule.

17. Develop all SOPs relevant to microbiological analysis.

18. Manage the maintenance of reference cultures, including daily and monthly transfers.

19. Communicate with the Head of Quality Control regarding the requirement of media and glassware to ensure the microbiological section operates smoothly.

20. Perform regular Growth Promotion Tests for the media used in laboratories.

21. Conduct and verify sanitization procedures according to a defined frequency.

22. Report any unusual observations or findings promptly to the appropriate senior personnel in the department.

23. Ensure that laboratory equipment suppliers are qualified under the Quality Assurance department's qualification system.

24. For computer-controlled laboratory equipment, confirm that relevant knowledge is maintained.

25. Create suitable training materials for laboratory-related topics.

26. Maintain an inventory of spare parts for all types of laboratory equipment and utilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.

27. Be adaptable to changes in laboratory functions in response to evolving quality standards.

28. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues.

29. Perform any additional tasks assigned by the department head.
