Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute a comprehensive media sales strategy aligned with business goals.
- Lead national/regional sales teams to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Identify new revenue streams, monetization opportunities, and partnerships.
Client & Agency Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, media agencies, and brand decision-makers.
- Oversee key accounts and high-value negotiations, including long-term media deals.
- Drive innovation in client solutions – branded content, sponsorships, integrations, and performance-based models.
Revenue Planning & Forecasting
- Track, analyze, and report sales performance metrics and pipeline projections.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and marketing teams for accurate forecasting and inventory management.
Team Development
- Mentor, train, and inspire a team of sales managers and executives.
- Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Media, or related field.
- 10–15 years of experience in media sales, including 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale ad sales teams and meeting revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of media buying/planning, digital programmatic sales, and brand marketing strategies.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Existing network of media agencies and brand marketers is a strong advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Cross-platform sales experience (TV, Digital, OTT, Print, OOH).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ad-tech, data-driven sales models, and audience targeting.
- Comfortable working with CRM tools, sales dashboards, and reporting systems.
