Hardware Developer

Skills & Abilities:

• Familiarity with Cadence Or CAD or Allegro software
• Familiarity with VHDL and AHDL hardware description languages
• Familiarity with debugging/ troubleshooting electronic circuits
• Familiarity with using test equipment (eg. oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
• Familiarity with developing test software for use during hardware debugging
• Familiarity with soldering, including surface mount components
• Familiarity with PCB layout
• Familiarity with firmware development
• Familiarity with the C/ C programming language
• Familiarity with design verification/ validation methodologies
• Competency in general use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Competency in configuration management methods
• Ability to communicate technical information to an audience of any experience level
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Demonstrable initiative toward continuous improvement
• Good level of English (technical)
