Hadoop Administrator

• Administer and manage Big Data Hadoop ecosystem including Hortonworks, Cloudera, and MapR platforms.

• Handle cluster setup, maintenance, upgrades, and expansion activities.

• Manage secure Hadoop environments using Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, KMS, and SSL configurations.

• Monitor and optimize HDFS storage and YARN resource utilization.

• Perform Linux system administration and support Big Data infrastructure.

• Troubleshoot Hadoop ecosystem issues by analyzing logs and identifying root causes.

• Support high availability setup and performance tuning of Hadoop services.

• Work on data ingestion tools like Sqoop, DistCp, and related pipelines.

• Manage stakeholder communication and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution.

• Support Big Data services like Hive, HBase, Kafka, and Spark environments.
