Golang Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• About the Role
• We are seeking a Golang Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend products and services.
• This role spans the full software development lifecycle and involves close collaboration with product engineering and DevOps teams within a product-focused Scrum environment.
• The technology landscape includes Golang, Google Spanner, REST APIs, microservices, Kafka, Pub Sub, Kubernetes, and GCP with monitoring.
• It also includes engineering tools such as Datadog, Postman, K6, and SonarQube.
• Roles Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain product features and backend services using Golang.
• Design and optimize database structures, SQL queries, and data integrity using Google Spanner.
• Develop and support REST APIs and microservices with a focus on availability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and analytics for service usage, performance, and overall system health.
• Partner with DevOps teams on deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
• Support production troubleshooting, create technical documentation, estimate work items, and share knowledge.
• Work within a product-focused Scrum team aligned to a product owner-driven roadmap.
• Apply LLM and agentic workflow practices within the SDLC.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years as a Backend Developer, including 1 year as a Golang Developer.
• Strong database SQL knowledge, REST API principles, and microservices architecture.
• Experience delivering high-load, high-uptime production services using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
• Understanding of Agile Scrum QA processes, LLMs, and agentic workflows.
