GL Accountant R2R - Night Shift

About the Role:

We are seeking a GL Accountant R2R - Night Shift with 3 to 8 years of experience in GL Accounting is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in GL management, preferably with a US multinational company;
• Perform monthly accrual reconciliation across real estate properties using Actuals Workbook, Accruals Workbook, PM Statements, and Oracle balances.
• Ensure accurate comparison and validation between actual expenses and accrued amounts, identifying and resolving variances.
• Prepare and review Lease FX reports using month-end currency rates provided by the client.
• Extract Local Currency and Reporting Currency data from the LeaseQuery portal for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
• Input appropriate Start Date and End Date parameters in LeaseQuery and generate reports for the required accounting period.
• Reconcile foreign exchange impacts on lease balances, ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
• Handle prepayment reconciliations (Account 14010), including tracking, amortization, and month-end adjustments.
• Validate property management (PM) statements against general ledger balances and supporting workbooks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to obtain accurate supporting documentation, including exchange rates and transaction details.
• Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation for all reconciliations and adjustments.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy in real estate accounting workflows.
• Support month-end close activities, ensuring all reconciliations, reports, and ledger postings are completed within deadlines.
• Experience in GAAP to GAAP reconciliation
• Hands on experience in Oracle
