GCP Data Engineer

Description

We are looking for a GCP Data Engineer with 7-16 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing data pipelines and ensuring the integrity and availability of data across our GCP environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring solutions to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Optimize data storage and processing solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to data pipelines and processes.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-16 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau is a plus.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts and tools is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
