Game Artist 2D

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and production teams to create concept art and storyboards for upcoming projects.
• Develop stunning environmental art that aligns with overall game design.
• Produce thumbnail sketches depicting gameplay mechanics and tactile controls.
• Execute art in accordance with chosen style and/or reference.
• Maintain intention, emotion, and storytelling through art.
• Create character concepts with strong silhouette and expressive poses.
• Proficiently handle character design and background design with an effective sense of color palette.
• Adapt and work with a broad range of artistic styles.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong storytelling capability; able to use pose and composition to create clear, definable moments.
• Skilled in various digital inking and rendering methods and styles.
• Solid understanding of all aspects of concept art related to illustration and design.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max, and other 2D/3D applications.
• Passion for games and interactive media.
