Frontend (React) Engineering Lead - AITDS

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop Frontend Applications

· Create and implement user interfaces with React.js and TypeScript.

· Develop reusable UI components and shared frontend libraries.

· Craft user interfaces optimized for performance and user experience, including approaches such as lazy loading and virtualization.

· Connect frontend applications to backend APIs and services.

· Partner with UX and visual design teams to deliver an exceptional user experience.

2. Build Secure and Scalable UI Architecture

· Define and apply frontend design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, and Observer when they fit the use case.

· Implement authentication and authorization using industry standards including OIDC and OAuth.

· Work with the backend engineering team to support scalable, high-performing, and maintainable application development.

3. Apply Modern Software Engineering Practices

· Set up CI/CD pipelines for frontend build and deployment workflows.

· Create unit and integration tests to uphold application quality.

· Leverage code companions and contemporary developer tooling to increase productivity and improve code quality.

Required Capabilities / Skills / Experience

· 6–10 years of software engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

· Hands-on experience with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

· Experience developing reusable UI components and micro-frontend applications.

· Experience in frontend performance optimization and building responsive designs.

· Experience implementing authentication and authorization for web applications using modern security standards.

· Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services.

· Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and experience with frontend application deployment practices.

· Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and frontend testing frameworks.

· Strong problem-solving, coding, and UI engineering skills aimed at delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
