The primary responsibilities for the roles within the Prime Finance - Risk Team would include:

Lead the technical design to build an end to end automated margin risk controls platform.
Work with senior stakeholders in Prime Front Office to understand and gather requirements on internal MIS, build specs and provide strategic direction on platform design.
Collaborate with global Analytics team on agreeing specs and the build approach.
Test new changes developed by Analytics team and validate these to be in line with the functional requirements.
Trouble-shoot, run adhoc queries / analysis, build be-spoke reports, lead automation efforts on manual processes run by the wider Prime team.
Mentor junior team members on technical design and solution approach.

Desired:

Experience in both Python and ReactJS
Experience of BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Experience with at least one other object oriented language (C++, Java, .NET, etc.)
Very comfortable with the uses of Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data wrangling.
Experience in at least one Python web framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask, etc).
Proficient in relational databases (SQL / Oracle) and design of structured data (normalization and de-normalization, indexing, etc.).
Appropriate use of behavioural and unit testing, and continuous integration/delivery concepts.
Experience working with Agile methodologies, TDD, etc.
Comfortable in both a Windows and Linux environment.
Proven track record in automating manual tasks / excel reports.
Experience on working on large datasets / datalake
Knowledge on various financial products like Equities, Fixed Income Securities, Convertible Bonds, Repo, Futures and Options.
Strong logical, analytical and problem solving skills are a must.
Strong team player, a quick learner and willing to put extra effort to build stakeholder relations and garner business knowledge .
Self-starter and ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines.
Proficiency on KDB, Kx is highly desirable.
NoSQL database technology
Cloud experience (AWS, etc.)
Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
Knowledge / experience in Prime Brokerage and/ or Risk will be desirable
