Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and development of products for warehouse automation, robotics, and industrial IoT applications
- Design and implement both hardware and software for embedded devices and systems from requirement to production and deployment
- Develop, test, and debug system software and hardware components
- Analyze and enhance system efficiency, stability, and scalability
- Integrate and validate new product designs and ensure quality standards are met
- Support hardware and software QA activities and optimize I/O performance
- Provide installation and post-production technical support as needed
- Interface with hardware design and software development teams for seamless integration
- Evaluate third-party and open-source components for potential inclusion in designs
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software domains for product integration
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing of firmware
- Be willing to travel or work on-site when required
Technical Skills Required:
- Proven experience in embedded systems development (firmware, hardware, and software)
- Strong hands-on experience in embedded target development and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Embedded C, Linux, and shell/Python/C# scripting
- Deep understanding of real-time systems, embedded Linux, RTOS, and MCU programming
- Familiarity with Linux environments, uBoot, Device Tree, Yocto build systems, timers, interrupts, and ADCs
- Knowledge of configuration management and defect tracking tools such as TI SDK, Keil, Cube IDE, Eclipse, and Visual Studio
- Excellent grasp of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, USB, CAN)
- Understanding of embedded hardware schematics and component data sheets
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills
- Proficient in both Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of multithreading, multiprocessing, semaphores, mutexes, and events
