Field Service Engineer -Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, startup, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at customer sites
• Evaluate equipment performance based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical systems and HMI following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Execute basic electrical work such as cable wiring when required
• Handle, verify, and report equipment non-conformities appropriately
• Provide technical assistance during warranty and post-warranty phases
• Deliver on-site training to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance
• Prepare and submit accurate technical reports and time sheets regularly
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, and customer site regulations
• Identify and report after-sales business opportunities during site visits
• Coach and support junior engineers in field activities, troubleshooting, and reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams and report site activities to ISM or project leads
