Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Professional
Job Description
• Lead fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) analysis for metallic and composite aerospace structures
• Define fatigue-critical areas, load paths, calculation points, and scatter factors based on regulatory standards
• Oversee structural design, certification, testing, and validation lifecycle activities
• Prepare F&DT documentation, method registers, certification checklists, and test templates
• Lead fatigue test planning, execution support, and test-to-analysis correlation
• Act as technical approver, checker, and signatory for F&DT deliverables
• Drive root cause analysis and resolve structural fatigue and stress-related issues
• Ensure compliance with FAR/CS regulations, MIL standards, and OEM requirements
• Manage project scope, change control, and engineering delivery timelines
• Interface with clients and lead technical discussions on aerospace structural programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality
• Drive digital engineering initiatives including MBD, MBSE, and digital twin concepts
