Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Engineering Manager/Assistant Manager in managing Mechanical, Plumbing, and Civil maintenance activities within the facility.
  • Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
  • Maintain critical spares inventory as per OEM recommendations and ensure availability of essential components.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance/service activities of M&E contractors to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
  • Maintain and update logbooks, checklists, PPM schedules, and maintenance records for all installations.
  • Monitor and manage equipment breakdowns and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Arrange ad-hoc M&E setups based on client requirements with minimal operational disruption.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to site safety rules, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct daily facility inspections and walkthroughs to monitor system performance and identify issues.
  • Support shift operations and independently handle engineering-related responsibilities when required.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, compliance deadlines, and operational standards.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and stakeholders for scheduled maintenance, shutdowns, and system upgrades.
  • Formulate annual environmental management plans aligned with ESG goals and organizational policies.
  • Maintain engineering objectives and support compliance with BCMS requirements.
  • Track and ensure closure of maintenance-related tickets and service requests within defined timelines.
  • Monitor usage of maintenance management tools (e.g., Simpliance) and ensure compliance with defined scope.
  • Maintain statutory records including calibration certificates, pollution control compliance, and other regulatory documents.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to PHE operations.
  • Track and report water consumption, maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and operational performance metrics.
  • Support facility manager in preparation of R&M budgets, utility forecasts, and operational planning.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management of spares, consumables, and maintenance materials.
  • Generate downtime, incident, and breakdown reports for operational analysis and improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to service maintenance schedules and maintain system reliability.
