Executive / Senior Executive Peptide MS&T

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 10 years of work experience in Peptide Research & Development (R&D), Process Development (PD), Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T), and Technology Transfer.
• Proven work experience in both Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) and Liquid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS) for upstream (synthesis) and downstream (purification) processes.
• Hands-on experience operating SPPS peptide synthesizers, Preparative HPLC systems, column packing/unpacking procedures, HETP analysis, and Lyophilizers.
• Experience collaborating with R&D teams to conduct 'what-if' studies, identify process requirements, and ensure smooth process execution at manufacturing scale.
• Demonstrated competence in technology adoption, scale-up activities, and providing validation support for peptide APIs.
• Ability to monitor peptide upstream and downstream processes and effectively train operators on these processes.
• A strong drive to ensure the development of scalable, robust, and competitive peptide APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Support Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) with continuous process and project improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate the implementation of new technologies and products within peptide manufacturing.
• Lead and support scale-up activities and troubleshooting efforts.
• Prepare and review technical documents and other related documentation.
• Train and support team members to effectively accomplish daily tasks.
• Ensure the safety of oneself and team members at all times, coordinating with CFTs to maintain a safe working environment.
• Undertake any other relevant activities assigned by the reporting manager on a priority basis.
• Operate relevant software systems such as SAP, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), GxP Digitize, and Documentum as per applicability to the role.
