Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Equity Dealing and Order Execution:
  • Execute equity and derivatives trades accurately on behalf of clients within regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and error-free order placement through trading platforms.
  • Monitor real-time market trends and provide updates to clients for informed decision-making.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and high-net-worth (HNI) clients.
  • Understand clients investment goals, risk appetite, and financial needs to provide personalized trading solutions.
  • Handle client queries regarding portfolio performance, account statements, and trading strategies.
  1. Advisory Support:
  • Provide clients with insights on equity markets, investment opportunities, and trading strategies.
  • Suggest appropriate financial products and portfolio adjustments based on market trends and client needs.
  • Assist clients in managing risk through hedging strategies and diversification.
  1. Revenue Generation:
  • Achieve individual and branch-level revenue targets through brokerage and advisory services.
  • Focus on upselling and cross-selling equity and allied products such as mutual funds, insurance, and other investment instruments.
  1. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory and compliance norms (SEBI, NSE/BSE, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and trade orders in line with audit requirements.
  • Monitor client trading behavior to mitigate potential risks such as margin shortfalls or speculative trading.
  1. Market Monitoring:
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and corporate actions that may impact equities.
  • Analyze market news and events to share actionable insights with clients.

Academic requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, or Economics (NISM VIII certifications).

Experience

1–3years of experience in equity markets, wealth management, or a similar role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and trading tools.
