Job Description

key responsibilities:

  • This is an Intermediate consulting position (IC2) operating independently with some assistance and guidance to provide quality work products to projects or customers.
  • The role requires applying Oracle methodologies and practices to perform standard duties and tasks with some variation, implementing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.
  • This position is primarily responsible for the design and development of Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCCS).
  • You will collaborate with technical guides to implement technologies within the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Function as applications design architect/Lead for Oracle FCCS.
  • Serve as the Application Design point of contact for FCCS Analyst Teams.
  • Provide Solutions to existing Architecture Design on the current system.
  • Collaborate efficiently with other groups and technical guides.
  • Provide best-fit architectural solutions for new initiatives; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments.
  • Provide solution architecture for business problems, platform integration with third-party services, and developing features for client business needs.
  • Performs standard assignments by exercising independent judgment within defined policies and processes to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles.
  • 5+ Years EPM Experience is required, which suggests a strong specialization for this Intermediate-level role.
  • Experience in Implementation of EPM cloud with strong Application Development process experience on FCCS/HFM.
  • Good knowledge on the consolidation process.
  • Experience in Requirement Gathering and Solution Design.
  • Desired functional knowledge includes understanding of Income statement, Balance Sheet, different methods of consolidation, and disclosure in financial statements.
  • Sound functional knowledge in Finance/accounting/General Ledger/Sub Ledgers.
  • Sound Knowledge on Financial Reports and SmartView Reports.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
