Engineering Manager, YouTube OTT

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the storage infrastructure, workflow, and pipelines for content management and publishing to YouTube.
• Build and manage tools within YouTube Studio to help media companies manage content and grow their businesses.
• Influence media companies to provide quality videos and metadata on YouTube, managing third-party metadata provider integrations.
• Hire and grow an engineering team, fostering a healthy culture rooted in psychological safety and collaboration.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in languages such as Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role with 2 years in people management.
• Experience in data processing, data infrastructure, and quality problems with third-party data.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and develop high-performing teams.
