Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build, mentor, and manage a team of engineers; drive learning and development initiatives.
• Culture & Efficiency: Create an environment where innovation, efficiency, and high performance thrive.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business owners, CFO, CEO's office, and Architects to define objectives, priorities, and timelines; liaise on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Project Ownership: Translate engineering roadmap into internal projects; guide the team to deliver end-to-end execution.
• Delivery & Quality: Ensure high-quality deliverables through code reviews, test plans, deployment plans, and process adherence.
• Metrics & Reporting: Track and report engineering health metrics, including bugs, production incidents, and system performance.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of experience in software engineering with a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven experience in backend/platform development, REST APIs, and high-complexity software systems.
• Experience in code reviews, system design, and delivery of measurable outcomes.
• 1-2+ years of experience building and managing high-performance teams.
• Knowledge of Billing and BI tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated capability for end-to-end ownership of engineering projects.

Good-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience with AI technologies.
• Experience with cloud deployments, distributed and scalable systems, and DevOps culture.
