Engineering Assistant (Biomedical Engineering)

Brief Overview

Become a key member of a vibrant team focused on providing technical support for medical equipment throughout its entire lifecycle. This position prioritizes hands-on troubleshooting and teamwork with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the highest level of equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support during the commissioning, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning phases of medical equipment. Oversee and collaborate with specialized and external vendors to carry out maintenance tasks on medical devices. Work closely with engineers to enhance service coordination. Conduct inspections, analyses, and troubleshooting for faults, complaints, and hazards related to medical equipment, assisting Biomedical Engineering teams in the formulation and implementation of action plans. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in the management of medical devices or equipment is advantageous.
