Purpose:

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, resilient applications and APIs.
Ensure solutions align with business requirements, data architecture, and organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, unit test, document, and deploy applications and APIs based on functional requirements.
Design and develop database applications using SQL Server Integration Services, TSQL, and Stored Procedures.
Consult with business teams to determine logical design for new solutions according to existing data architecture.
Perform code reviews, analyze execution plans, and refactor inefficient code.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.
Follow data standards, resolve data issues, and complete unit testing and system documentation for ETL processes.
Assist managers with project development, documentation, testing plans, and progress tracking.
Collaborate with business analysts, source system experts, and IT operations to ensure sustainable database releases.
Develop, extend, or migrate scalable data engineering solutions leveraging cloud infrastructure.
Craft data models, technical design, and documentation of solutions.
Optimize data asset performance and ensure data integrity.
Transfer knowledge of data access and consumption mechanisms to business stakeholders and data specialists.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
8+ years of professional experience in software development.
5+ years of experience with React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.
Strong experience in building microservices-based applications.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot or Quarkus for enterprise cloud-native Java applications.
Experience with RESTful API design, development, and tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
SQL database experience (MySQL, Oracle) including data modeling and query optimization.
Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure Repos/Pipelines).
Unit testing and integration testing experience (JUnit, Mockito).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
