Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS) Sustenance:
- Focal person for all QMS operations like asset maintenance, conducting audits, process improvements, and tracking quality objectives.
- Tracking and Reviewing Quality Objectives:
- Conduct QMS reviews monthly with all stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence:
- Analyze existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- 6 Sigma and Lean Principles:
- Drive adherence to and enhancement of 6 Sigma and Lean principles in operations.
- Operational Strategies:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality in engineering operations.
- Collaboration with Presales and Engineering Teams:
- Collaborate to review proposed technical solutions and engineering labor to come up with cost-competitive solutions.
- Contingency Labor Program:
- Drive contingency labor program; collaborate with vendors and suppliers to increase flex usage.
- Interface with Honeywell Corp:
- Keep updated on the development of new technologies and tools.
- Internal Tools Management:
- Own and drive internal tools (DET, DMS) deployment, compliance, and enhancement.
- Invoicing & POs Management:
- Ensure invoices are raised correctly for offshore & onsite services; review AR for 0 outstanding.
- CAPEX & Lab Requirements:
- Manage and coordinate business unit facilities/infrastructure-related needs.
- Secondment Process:
- Drive and ensure compliance with secondment processes; assist with Visa/Work Permit processing, onsite assignment letters, and other related tasks.
- Timesheet Compliance and Overtime Processing:
- Review and drive timesheet compliance and oversee overtime processing.
- Onboarding of New Hires:
- Facilitate and enhance the onboarding process for new hires.
You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering or a related field).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering operations or related roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and people-oriented skills.
