Overview
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Principal Consultant to lead the delivery of green building certification and building physics projects across the built environment sector. The position calls for strong technical capability, proven project management skills, and the confidence to independently manage workstreams and maintain effective client interfaces. This is a rewarding role for a passionate, driven professional who wants to support the delivery of strategic sustainability and environmental advisory services for some of the region’s most important infrastructure, community development, and utility projects.
A central part of the role is producing high-quality technical outputs by managing project activities and teams, as well as helping drive business development. You will also mentor junior staff and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of sustainability services and methodologies.

Your role
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-8 years of relevant sustainability consulting and building physics experience.
- Strong expertise in energy modelling using IES-VE software for LEED and Estidama.
- Experience leading sustainability assessments, renewable energy studies, carbon assessments, and technical analyses.
- Proven experience delivering medium-to-large-scale projects across multiple project stages.
- Strong knowledge of green building certification systems including LEED, WELL, Mostadam, Estidama, BREEAM, or equivalent.
- Understanding of sustainability regulations, policies, industry standards, and net zero frameworks.
- Ability to review and quality assure technical deliverables prepared by junior team members.
- Professional accreditation such as ASHRAE BEMP, HBDP, BCxP, LEED AP, Estidama PQP, or equivalent preferred.
- Manage project workstreams and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
- Plan and track project deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Line manage, mentor and support consultants and graduate team members.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
- Support project quality assurance and governance processes.
- Show strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
