Core Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat: diseases and conditions of the dental pulp and periapical tissues, such as infections, inflammation, and abscesses. 
• Perform root canal therapy: and endodontic retreatment. 
• Conduct endodontic surgery, including procedures like apicoectomies. 
• Manage traumatic dental injuries, such as fractures and displacements. 
• Administer anesthetics: to ensure patient comfort during procedures. 

Patient Care and Communication:

• Educate patients: on their diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists: to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Prescribe medications, such as antibiotics and pain relievers, as needed.
• Provide emergency endodontic care: when necessary. 

Administrative and Professional Duties:

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records: and treatment histories.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools: and specialized equipment.
• Ensure compliance: with infection control and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements: in endodontic techniques and technologies through continuing education.
