Embedded Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and port RDK/RDK-B or vendor SDK modules across router and modem platforms
• Develop C/C++ based system services for hardware components like LED, USB, FAN, and system status indicators
• Build and maintain RTOS/Linux-based drivers, middleware, and system-level components
• Implement networking and control features including SNMP, SSH, Telnet, and diagnostic modules
• Develop Wi-Fi and broadband features including routing, QoS, NAT, firewall, and failover mechanisms
• Work on TR-369 (USP) based telemetry and data collection frameworks
• Contribute to system architecture design including IPC, threading, and resource management
• Perform performance tuning across CPU, memory, latency, and system reliability improvements
• Debug firmware, driver, and network stack issues using tools like JTAG, UART, and core dumps
• Collaborate with hardware, QA, DevOps, and manufacturing teams for integration and validation
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python and Shell scripting
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and release management
• Prepare technical documentation including design specs, test plans, and release notes
• Support field issue resolution and perform root cause analysis for production issues
