Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Head to lead the design, execution, and management of data centre electrical infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in low‑voltage (LV) power distribution systems, busbar trunking, switchgear, and IEC 61439 compliance, with proven ability to deliver large‑scale projects in mission‑critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Centre Electrical Infrastructure
• Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of LV distribution systems, busbar trunking, tap‑off boxes, MTUs, UPS integration, and switchgear.
• Ensure redundancy, reliability, and compliance with Tier standards and IEC 61439.
• Oversee electrical layouts, schematics, cable routing, voltage drop, short‑circuit, and thermal management calculations.
• Project Leadership
• Manage electrical scope for data centre projects, coordinating with mechanical, controls, and project management teams.
• Drive vendor management, material readiness, and panel manufacturing for timely execution.
• Conduct feasibility checks, risk assessments, and technical validations for electrical systems.
• Testing & Compliance
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, UL, CE, and local standards.
• Validate dielectric strength, temperature rise, and IP ratings for critical equipment.
• Team & Stakeholder Management
• Guide engineers and drafters in producing accurate design deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors to align technical requirements.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement in electrical design processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• 12–15+ years of experience in LV electrical design and project execution, with at least 5 years in data centre projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, CATIA, SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of LV switchgear, MCCB, ACB, MCB, UPS systems, busbar trunking.
