Electrical Equipment Engineer

Job Overview:

• We are in search of a highly skilled Senior Electrical Equipment Engineer Lead with 9 to 15 years of experience in Power Systems, including Bus Ducts, HV Equipment, GCB, Switchgear, ETAP, and Dialux.
• The selected candidate will take charge of electrical engineering initiatives, conduct advanced power system analyses, manage equipment specifications, and support the implementation of extensive industrial utility power generation, Oil & Gas infrastructure, and data center projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and engineering of electrical systems for intricate projects.
• Conduct and review power system studies utilizing ETAP.
• Execute load flow, short circuit, arc flash, motor starting, and protection coordination studies.
• Review and endorse electrical equipment specifications for HV, MV, and LV systems.
• Manage engineering tasks concerning Bus Ducts, Switchgear, Transformers, GCBs, UPS, and HV Equipment.
• Create and assess Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematics, panel layouts, and equipment layouts.
• Perform lighting calculations and designs using Dialux.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist procurement by evaluating vendor proposals and executing technical bid analyses.
• Engage in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, IEC and IEEE standards, and safety protocols.
• Guide junior engineers and offer technical leadership throughout project execution.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in Power Plants, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Infrastructure, Manufacturing, or Data Center Projects.
• Familiarity with Electrical Design Software such as ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, E3D, and SmartPlant Electrical.
• Experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Understanding of substation design and electrical network planning.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing capabilities.
