The Education Counseling role involves providing guidance and support to students in making informed decisions about their educational and career paths. This position is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates who are passionate about helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students regarding educational pathways and career options.
• Assist students in identifying their interests, strengths, and weaknesses to help them make informed decisions about their education.
• Provide information on various educational programs, scholarships, and admission processes in India and abroad.
• Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and organizations to stay updated on the latest opportunities and trends.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and information sessions to educate students and parents about educational options and resources.
• Guide students through the application process for universities and colleges, including essay writing and interview preparation.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and parents.
• Excellent listening skills to understand student needs and concerns.
• Knowledge of the Indian educational system and various career paths available to students.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using technology for counseling purposes, including online platforms and tools.
• A degree in Psychology, Education, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications in counseling will be an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
