ED Facility coder

Description

We are seeking an experienced ED Facility Coder to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-7 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in emergency department coding, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., AHIMA, AAPC) is preferred.
