DSP Design Verification - Tools and Infrastructure Sr Staff Engineer
Job Description
The DSP design team is responsible for delivering high-performance DSP cores, which are at the heart of Qualcomm's multi-tier SoC roadmap targeted for the mobile space. Our team works on tools support and infrastructure for complex Qualcomm proprietary DSP IP.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the DSP design database and support the design flows and infrastructure.
Build new automations to enable the
design team s to be more productive.
Work closely with global DSP team in resolving critical infrastructure issues ,challenges and bottlenecks in time .
Develop and deploy new tool methodologies and automation to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
3-10 years of experience in programming, database management, tools support, and automation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical, programming, and debugging skills.
Excellent scripting and automation skills in Perl,
Python, Shell, and Makefile TCI.
Hands-on experience with
Kubernetes/Docker.
Experience with
JIRA or any bug tracking tool.
Strong experience with GIT.
Basic knowledge of Clearcase.
Hands-on experience in
web/UI development.
Knowledge of databases such as
SQL and MongoDB.
Familiarity with DSP/Electronics (preferred).
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD automation.
Experience in project/team management (for experienced candidates)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
