Job Description

  • Participate in partnering with stakeholders and team members to produce high quality technical documentation.
  • Create various types of user documentation including manuals, guides, presentations and more.
  • Analyze complex technical systems and software and fill any gaps in existing documentation.
  • Obtain appropriate information from subject matter experts and establish reproducible method for generating clear and concise documentation in accordance with professional standards.
  • Review, analyze the contractual requirements (Customer specifications, local regulations, codes and standards) and prepare the requirement specification for the O&M Manual preparation.
  • Define O&MM structure for projects, that meets projects contractual obligations
  • Early identification of risks pertaining to projects O&MM and provide proposals for mitigation
  • Coordination with project stakeholders to communicate O&MM requirements and to collect input documents
  • Collect, compile and publish O&M Manuals in the required format and language, ensure on time delivery, within budget and quality deliverables
  • Review input O&M documents from format, structure and language point of view, and inform document providers for corrective actions
  • Interact with document providers for on time delivery and quality of their documents
  • Clarify and support site/Customer queries related to O&M Manuals
  • Ensures follow up and timely response on O&MM related issues and reaches agreements, internally and externally
  • Prepare lessons learnt for projects and ensure communication of them so that next projects benefit
