Job Description
Position : Divisional Sales Manager
Reports To : State Head/GM
Prof. Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing preferred)
Age Profile: Between 30 to 40 years
Role Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Divisional Sales Manager (DSM) to lead and manage sales operations across a single or multiple depots in Northeast. The role involves driving volume, value, and growth targets through a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), while expanding and strengthening the retail distribution network in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed sales volume and value targets across assigned territories.
- Lead, guide, and develop a team of Area Sales Managers to ensure consistent performance.
- Expand and manage a wide and effective retail distribution network.
- Monitor local market trends and competitor activities, and recommend proactive strategies.
- Implement and oversee effective network management schemes and trade engagement programs.
- Ensure strong customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience:
- 12 to 15 years of proven experience in retail, distribution & channel sales
- Experience in Paints, Building Materials, or allied sectors preferred
- Strong exposure to sales operations in Northeast
