Director of Engineering

• Serve as a core member of the leadership team to define and drive technical direction, product roadmaps, and development strategies.
• Lead and provide strategic oversight for engineering teams, ensuring technical alignment, delivery excellence, and continuous improvement across diverse technology domains.
• Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performance engineering team, creating future leaders within the organization.
• Promote the use of AI-enabled development practices to accelerate innovation and build intelligent systems.
• Partner with Delivery, and Business teams to ensure alignment between tech delivery and business outcomes.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and introduce relevant advancements to the development team.

Preferred Background & Experience:

• 15+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA).
• Proven experience in building and scaling high-performance solutions across various technology platforms.
• Demonstrated exposure and practical experience in AI-enabled software development is essential.
• Domain experience in any of the domains from Healthcare, Ecommerce, IoT or Fintech is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership in hiring, mentoring, and retaining engineering talent.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
