Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Knowledge Transfer
- Complete Workday Adaptive Planning training (On-Demand Power User and Workday Pro Training).
- Train internal planning power users using a 'train-the-trainer' model.
- Support knowledge transfer and upskilling initiatives across finance and digital teams.
Project Participation and Management
- Actively participate in project meetings (design reviews, change control, etc.).
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects to ensure timely and budget-aligned outcomes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation goals.
Design, Configuration, and Implementation
- Design, configure, test, and implement business requirements using Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Collaborate with IT Architects, Snowflake/Adaptive Integration specialists, and the Central Data Office to configure data pipelines.
- Align financial data models with strategic business objectives.
Testing and Documentation
- Assist business users in configuration testing and UAT.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and training materials.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis for planning and reporting issues and implement corrective actions.
- Identify and drive process improvements, leveraging automation and digital best practices.
Digital Strategy Development
- Partner with stakeholders to develop digital strategies aligned with planning and budgeting objectives.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and make recommendations for enhancements.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze large data sets and generate actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Develop dashboards and reports for financial and operational metrics using BI tools.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a key liaison between IT, Finance, and business units to ensure transparency and effective communication.
- Maintain continuous alignment with project stakeholders and sponsors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital project management, planning, or FP&A roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FPA), budgeting, or forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar financial planning systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP BPC, Hyperion).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, BI tools like Tableau or Power BI, and data tools like SQL and advanced Excel.
- Certifications: Workday certification, CPA, CFA, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
