Position Summary

We are collaborating with a manufacturing client to implement Critical Manufacturing MES in Kulim. We are in search of both SAP and Non-SAP ERP manufacturing consultants who possess transferable skills in production, quality, maintenance, or shop-floor operations, and are eager to embrace a transition into MES implementation. Chosen candidates will benefit from structured training in Critical Manufacturing MES while assisting with implementation, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support activities.

Essential SAP Experience

Applicants must demonstrate hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:

·      SAP MES

·      SAP MII / SAP ME

·      SAP PP

·      SAP QM

·      SAP PM

Core Responsibilities

·      Collect and document requirements related to manufacturing and shop-floor operations.

·      Evaluate production, quality, maintenance, material-flow, and equipment processes.

·      Assist in the configuration and implementation of Critical Manufacturing MES.

·      Facilitate integration efforts between SAP, MES, and additional manufacturing systems.

·      Develop process flows, functional specifications, user stories, data mappings, and test scripts.

·      Conduct system integration testing and user acceptance testing; document, track, and retest any defects.

·      Aid in master-data validation, user training, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.

·      Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, IT, SAP, and MES teams.

Candidate Qualifications

·      Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

·      4–7 years of pertinent experience in a similar capacity.

·      Hands-on experience in at least one of the required SAP domains.

·      Solid understanding of manufacturing or plant operations.

·      Experience with SAP, MES, ERP, or manufacturing digitalization projects.

·      Proven ability to translate manufacturing needs into system processes.

·      Experience in preparing functional documentation or test scenarios.

·      Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

·      Willingness to undergo Critical Manufacturing MES training and primarily work onsite in Kulim.

·      Availability to assist with go-live or critical deployment activities as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Experience in semiconductor, electronics, high-tech, automotive, medical-device, or other manufacturing sectors.

·      Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA manufacturing or experience with SAP-to-MES integrations.

·      Familiarity with production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, inspection processes, equipment, maintenance orders, or shop-floor execution.

·      Understanding of APIs, SQL, middleware, databases, or manufacturing system integration.

·      Previous experience with Critical Manufacturing or other enterprise MES platforms.
