Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Proficient in Azure DevOps, Azure YAML Pipelines, CI/CD methodologies, Git, and best practices for Source Code Management (SCM).
· Deep expertise in Azure, including troubleshooting and scenario-based inquiries, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and scripting.
· Skilled in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and networking solutions.
· Experience with SonarQube for configuring Quality Gates and integrating with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
· Knowledge of various Azure Services including Azure App Service, Application Gateway, API Management (APIM), Azure Key Vault, Azure Cosmos DB, and HDInsight Kafka.
· Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning tools like ARM templates and Terraform.
· Understanding of networking principles within cloud environments.
· Experience in artifact management using JFrog and scripting in Bash and/or Python.
· Awareness of Azure Active Directory (AAD) application registration and the methods through which applications authenticate and interact with backend services.
· Comprehension of data flow processes and event-driven architectural patterns.
· Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) concepts and Lightbend Cloudflow is advantageous.
· Preferred skills include database knowledge, communication abilities, and familiarity with AI tools.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Develop, construct, and sustain Azure YAML Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, incorporating Quality Gates to guarantee superior code delivery.
· Oversee and implement Git branching strategies, facilitate code review processes, and uphold SCM best practices.
· Provision, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure as needed by engineering teams.
· Automate infrastructure deployment using ARM templates or Terraform and integrate this automation within CI/CD pipelines.
· Utilize Kubernetes extensively, maximizing its capabilities for deployment, scaling, and ongoing maintenance.
· Examine application architecture and service interactions for effective troubleshooting and resolution of issues.
· Create automation scripts in Bash or Python for repetitive tasks and incorporate them into the delivery lifecycle.
