Devops Engineer

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a proficient DevOps Engineer with practical experience in AWS cloud, container orchestration, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) automation.
• The successful candidate will possess substantial knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket, and GitHub, along with a background in supporting cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Primary Duties
• Design, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Oversee containerized applications leveraging Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS through Terraform.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration processes using Ansible or Chef.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance build, release, and deployment workflows.
• Administer source code repositories with GitHub and Bitbucket.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application and infrastructure performance.
• Adopt and apply DevOps best practices, security protocols, and automation methodologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate production deployments and resolve issues.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and operational runbooks via Confluence and Jira.

Technical Qualifications:

• Necessary Experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
• Extensive experience in Kubernetes administration and deployment.
• Hands-on proficiency in Docker containerization.
• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, ELB, and Auto Scaling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform.
• Configuration management experience with Ansible or Chef.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.
• Proficient in implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and release management methodologies.

Additional Qualifications:

• Desirable Skills
• Experience with EKS.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
