DevOps Engineer

Experience required: 8 to 12 years

Preferred location: Pune, Mumbai

• We are looking for DevOps Expert with min 8 years of experience primarily worked on Banking or payments domain
• He/she should be making sure banking or payment applications are built released monitored and run smoothly using modern automation tools with minimal downtime and fast issue resolution The person acts as the bridge between development and operations teams to keep systems stable secure and always available in production

Candidate should have background and skillset as below:

• Must have expertise in Kubernetes CDCI Jenkins Ansible Kafka setup etc
• Hands on experience in writing DB2 or Oracle statements
• Should have prior experience and mindset of working in DevOps model
• Should have good experience in monitoring on tools like Grafana Splunk AppDynamics etc
• Good to have understanding of Java microservice API calls JVM tuning and debugging
• Experience with GIT JIRA Confluence Bitbucket
• Good to have Production Support Application maintenance experience
• Good to have banking/ payment domain knowledge and experience
• Experience of working in Agile setups collaborating with multiple teams with good communication skills
• Based on the project requirement willingness for On call Support is needed

Nice to have but not strictly required:

• Basic Snowflake Data warehouse
• SQL query optimization but not mandatory
• Main responsibilities in this role
• Working in DevOps roles building infra for different applications from scratch till production
• Performing release deployments in different environments TestNFTProd
• Performing application maintenance prod and nonprod environment support and application monitoring tasks
• Interacting with multiple scrum teams to support applications and deliveries
• Participating in Oncall support and weekend activities if any

Skills

• Mandatory Skills : Production Support/ Application maintenance experience with Kubernetes, CD/CI, SQL & Kafka setup
• Good to Have Skills : Monitoring on tools like Splunk, Grafana/AppDynamics.
