DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and maintain DevOps tools, techniques, patterns, and processes
• Create and manage trusted, automated pipelines from development to production environments
• Coach and mentor platform and feature teams to improve DevOps capability and drive continuous improvement
• Support the implementation of DevOps methodologies and tools within teams
• Contribute to building the DevOps engineering culture and mindset across the organisation

Required Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of DevOps principles, software engineering, and IT operations
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD, source code management, deployment, and configuration
• Experience with Python automation scripting
• Hosting microservices or micro frontends on PCF
• Implementing observability tools such as Splunk, DX Suite, Grafana, or Prometheus
• Designing and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, Python, and ReactJS applications
• Experience working in Agile environments and ways of working
