Devops Architect

Cradlepoint is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Architect to drive automation and optimize solution delivery within our dynamic and innovative environment. In this role, you will be instrumental in automating our solution delivery processes, ensuring alignment with overall solution design for optimal results in terms of time, cost, and quality. Your day-to-day activities will span from the installation and configuration of tools, and the development of reusable code and frameworks, to conducting system verification tests and managing solution lifecycles. You will operate in an Agile environment, potentially acting as an Agile or DevOps coach, fostering a culture of continuous learning and automation.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and pre-studies to recommend appropriate DevOps solutions based on predefined strategies.
• Create detailed designs for both scripting and coding, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
• Develop an implementation proposal based on design, meticulously writing technical specifications.
• Develop and integrate software components and automation using diverse DevOps tools.
• Execute product configuration testing, integration, and migration work within a DevOps operative environment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements, analyzing processes, methods, and tools with respect to development, performance, and quality.

The Skills You Bring: Required Qualifications

• Automation using Python.
• Proficiency with Ansible.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenStack.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Containers, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with Spinnaker.
• Strong command of Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery for Deployment (CDD).
• Extensive experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles and practices.
• Proficiency with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Tools for CI/CD such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Sonar, and Helm.
• Experience with Private Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with BitBucket.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
