Design/Auto Cad Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Drafting

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D designs, drawings, and plans using AutoCAD and related software.
• Modify and optimize existing designs to meet project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to finalize design requirements.

Project Coordination

• Support project planning and execution by providing accurate design inputs.
• Review technical specifications and ensure designs comply with industry standards.
• Assist in estimating materials, time, and cost requirements for design projects.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all designs adhere to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Conduct design verification, error checking, and revisions as required.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with production, manufacturing, or construction teams to implement designs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers or drafters as needed.
• Prepare regular reports, presentations, and design documentation for management and clients.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD features, design tools, and industry trends.
• Suggest improvements in design processes, workflows, and tools.
• Support innovation and efficiency initiatives within the design team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in design and drafting using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD management tools.
