Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Design Strategy & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers to deliver high-quality design outputs.
• Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business goals.
• Drive innovation and creative thinking across all design projects.

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee end-to-end design projects from concept to final execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet quality standards.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure designs meet company standards, industry guidelines, and client requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain documentation of design processes, standards, and project specifications.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions.
• Present design concepts, prototypes, and final designs to senior management or clients.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration within the design team and cross-functional departments.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Identify opportunities to improve design processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Implement best practices for design efficiency and quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in design management or senior design roles.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in design software and tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Experience in product development, concept design, or creative project management.
