Key Responsibilities in This Role Include:
- Analyze project specifications to understand requirements and gather relevant technical data
- Develop new drawings utilizing CAD software in response to support requests from Stafford Engineers
- Assist in revising existing engineering drawings for engineering change notices raised by Stafford Engineers
- Provide support for submittal drawings and updates based on customer feedback
- Generate 3D models using appropriate CAD tools
- Suggest improvements to the existing drawing system by incorporating additional models
- Offer engineering support including design modifications, stack-up analysis, GD&T proposals, and troubleshooting assistance to the Stafford team
- Maintain comprehensive records of all completed work
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review customer drawing templates and customize our drawings accordingly
- Enthusiastic about learning different product types and committed to producing high-quality work while meeting deadlines
- Proactively seek guidance from relevant sources to enhance skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic understanding of AUTOCAD software
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Over 3 years of professional experience in design engineering, modeling, or drafting
- Experience with engineering design projects and familiarity with ANSYS software
- Knowledge of pressure relief valves, regulators, and adherence to ASME and API standards
- Ability to quickly grasp new work processes through learning agility
- Working knowledge of AUTOCAD software
