Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season, and cook food following standard recipes and special dietary instructions.
  • Follow presentation specifications to ensure consistent food quality.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
  • Assist in menu planning and creation, contributing innovative ideas.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of assigned station.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the station and overall kitchen.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory management within budgeted guidelines.
  • Support the enforcement of Health & Safety protocols in the kitchen.

Education & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Culinary degree or diploma preferred.
