Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, season, and cook food following standard recipes and special dietary instructions.
- Follow presentation specifications to ensure consistent food quality.
- Provide direction and guidance to Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
- Assist in menu planning and creation, contributing innovative ideas.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures of assigned station.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the station and overall kitchen.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Assist with ordering and inventory management within budgeted guidelines.
- Support the enforcement of Health & Safety protocols in the kitchen.
Education & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or diploma preferred.
