Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts as per recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen.
- Assist in menu planning and new dessert creation.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef de Partie for replenishment.
- Adhere to food safety and HACCP standards.
Skills & Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Bakery/Patisserie or Culinary Arts.
- 1-2 years of experience in a pastry or bakery section.
- Knowledge of pastry techniques and decoration.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork.
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts / Bakery & Patisserie .
- Professional certification in Pastry or Bakery .
- Basic Food Safety or HACCP Experience .
- 1-2 years of experience in a pastry/bakery section in a hotel or restaurant.
