Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts as per recipes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the pastry kitchen.
  • Assist in menu planning and new dessert creation.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform the Chef de Partie for replenishment.
  • Adhere to food safety and HACCP standards.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Bakery/Patisserie or Culinary Arts.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pastry or bakery section.
  • Knowledge of pastry techniques and decoration.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork.
  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts / Bakery & Patisserie .
  • Professional certification in Pastry or Bakery .
  • Basic Food Safety or HACCP Experience .
  • 1-2 years of experience in a pastry/bakery section in a hotel or restaurant.
