Databricks- SAS skill engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Code Interpretation: Read, understand, and interpret SAS code to relay functional logic to Databricks developers.
• Code Conversion: Perform end-to-end SAS-to-Python/PySpark code conversion for Databricks implementation.
• Technical Guidance: Provide Databricks platform guidance and best practices to the team during the conversion process.
• Communication Facilitation: Act as a liaison between SAS team members and Databricks developers to ensure smooth collaboration.
• SAS Support: Offer SAS expertise to the team responsible for monitoring and supporting existing SAS jobs.
• Cross-Skilling: Utilize strong SAS and PySpark skills to support both legacy workloads and modern platform development.
