Data Stage Developer

Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with DataStage development and administration.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for complex data manipulation and query optimization.
• Experience deploying and managing DataStage solutions.
• Deep understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data integration.

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience in banking domain projects, with knowledge of domain-specific data structures.
• Experience in integrating on-premise data sources.

Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in DataStage development-based projects.
• Domain experience in FCCM or any other AML based projects is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using DataStage
• Strong knowledge of Proficiency in developing and managing DataStage jobs, sequences, routines, and parameters.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Implement data integration solutions, connecting diverse data sources on-premise systems, APIs, and flat files.
• Monitor and troubleshoot DataStage jobs to ensure seamless data flow and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Conduct performance tuning of ETL processes, SQL queries, and PL/SQL procedures.
• Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Adhere to data security and compliance standards.
• Provide guidance and best practices for DataStage projects.
