Data Science Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and market innovative AI products and services
• Enhance and optimize vector databases and knowledge graphs; configure vectors and write optimized Cypher queries
• Design scalable AI solutions using distributed systems to deploy predictive models at scale
• Build robust, fault-tolerant distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable and easy to manage
• Apply optimization mathematics, including linear and nonlinear programming, to improve AI performance
• Translate abstract business problems into concrete, scalable AI-driven solutions
• Lead development of tools using Large Language Models (LLMs) to tackle business challenges and improve productivity
• Develop in an agile environment, ensuring fast, iterative delivery of high-quality AI software
• Stay at the forefront of AI research, integrating advancements into production systems
• Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on best practices and coding standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of professional experience in AI solution development, with strong emphasis on LLM-based tools
• Proven experience with distributed systems, database architectures, and optimization algorithms
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, OS, complexity analysis
• Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
• Hands-on experience with Databricks on Azure and Microsoft Fabric
• Passion for AI research and development in areas such as deep learning, computer vision, and Generative AI frameworks (e.g., XLA, TVM, MLIR, LLVM)
